David B. Vail

David B. Vail, 61, of Plainville passed away Friday, October 22, 2010. Born in Sacramento, CA., he was the son of the late Edmond and Eileen(Murphy) Vail.

David was the founder and President of Penret Services Inc. He was a member of ASPPA and active in NIPA. He was also a past member of the Holliston Finance Committee as well as a library trustee. He was an avid skier, skydiver, scuba diver, sailor and golfer and was involved in many charities.

He is survived by his companion Darlene Montville of Plainville, one son; Jeremy Vail of Holliston, three daughters; Hillary Simonson and her husband Joel of Colorado, Lindsay Castro and her husband Bento of Milford, and Kelsey Vail of Holliston; and his former wife Claudette Vail of Holliston, his two brothers;?Ed Vail of New Orleans and Andy Vail and his wife Anne of Ashland. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Erik and Ava Simonson.

A private wake for the family will be held on Thursday, October 28 at the Chesmore Funeral home of Holliston, 854 Washington St., www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9:00.AM. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Walker School in Needham.
