Hopkinton
Robert John Wagner, 89, of Hopkinton died November 21, 2007 at Saint
Patrick’s Manor in Framingham. Born in Erie, PA and raised in Niagara
Falls, NY was the son of the late John and Loretta Wagner and the husband
of the late Patricia (Cummings) Wagner.
Bob was a WWII Veteran who had served as a Captain in the Army 750th Tank
Battalion at the Battle of the Bulge. He retired as a purchasing manager
from Olin Corporation after 30 years and had attended Niagara University.
He was a former resident of Brick and Lincroft, NJ.
Mr. Wagner is survived by two daughters; Mary Israelow of Seaville, NJ,
Susan Amato and her husband Mark of Hopkinton, two sons; Mark Wagner and his wife Maria of New York City, John Wagner and his wife Sandra of Poquoson, VA, 1 brother; Paul Wagner of Indianapolis, IN, 5 grandchildren; Andrew, Alyson, Lauren, Kara, and Sara, and 1 great grandchild Ben. Besides his parents and wife he is predeceased by one brother; James and 3 sisters; Margaret, Martha, and Frances.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 9:30 am
at Saint Patrick’s Manor on Central St. in Framingham. Funeral
