Hopkinton – Everett C. Kimball, 80, died January 31, 2005 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was the husband of Barbara (Siebert) Kimball for 57 years. Born and raised in Framingham, he was the son of the late Clyde and Estella (Tracy) Kimball. A resident of Hopkinton since 1949, he was retired from Liberty Mutual Research Center in Hopkinton. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was a member of the Sherborn American Legion, former Boy Scout leader for Troop One, and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hiking, fishing, camping, backpacking, rafting and birding. Besides his wife he is survived by his sons, Kenneth E. Kimball of Arkansas, Clifford A. Kimball and Wayne T. Kimball both of Hopkinton; sister, Grace E. Kimball of Natick, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Deborah A. Kimball and brother of the late Lewis W. Kimball. Calling hours will be held on Friday, Feb. 4 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 57 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton, www.chesmorefuneralhome.com. The funeral service will be held following the calling hours at 4:00 p.m. The Rev. Ernest Batten will officiate. A committal service will take place on Saturday, February 5 at 10:00 a.m. at the family lot in Eastwood Cemetery in Lancaster.
