Joseph John Bent

Joseph John Bent, 89, of Westfield, MA died Sunday April 20, 2003. He was formerly a resident of Cambridge, MA, Walpole, MA, Laconia, NH, and Zephyrhills, FL. Born in Cambridge, MA in 1913 to the late Herman and Mary Josephine (Madeiros) Bent.

He was a Machinist for 30 years at Fales Machine Co. of Walpole, MA., and a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Westfield, MA.

He is survived by 3 daughters Joan A. MacGray of Holliston, Mary L. Conley of Westfield, and Katherine L. Beyer of North Attleboro, MA. He also leaves 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by; his wife Catherine Anna (Salisbury) Bent, a son Joseph J. Bent JR., grandson Richard C. MacGray Jr., and a brother Walter F. Bent.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2003 at 11:00 Am in Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston. Visitation will take place before from 9:45 to 10:30 AM at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., (Rt. 16) Holliston, MA.
