James Ballou Cummings Jr., 88, of Holliston, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017. Born in Newton, he was the son of the late Sarah (Hodnott) and James B. Cummings. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Burke) Cummings.

James was an Army Veteran who served in the Korean War from 1950-1952. He enjoyed carpentry and taught Industrial Arts in the Wellesley Public School System for 35 years. He was a member of the Holliston Sportsman Club. James is survived by his son, John Cummings and his wife Joanne of Holliston, and his daughter Susan Cummings-Nizzari and her husband Louis of Bellingham.
