Robert W. Murray

Robert W. Murray, 96, of Holliston, passed away October 3, 2016. Born in Somerville, he was the son of the late Mabel (Mahaney) and Robert Murray.

A WWII Army Veteran, Robert had worked in the Mortgage Department at First National Bank. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Boston and enjoyed giving tours of the church. He loved classical music and traveling by train or ship.

He is survived by his sister, Janet Rumery of Ware, MA; his nephew, Michael Rumery of Holliston, his niece, Linda Hutchinson of Ware, and his nephew, Bruce Rumery of Washington. He also leaves behind a great-nephew, Kyle of Holliston, and a great-niece, Chelsea of Ware.

Services will be held with the family at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody in the family lot. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com
