John J. Driscoll III

John J. Driscoll III, 62, of Franklin, passed away January 26, 2016 at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Mary (Carey) and John J. Driscoll Jr.

John was an Army and National Guard Veteran of 30 years including combat in Vietnam and peace keeping deployments in Kosovo and Egypt. He was also an avid Civil War reenactor.

John leaves behind his two brothers, Daniel C. Driscoll and his wife Emelda of Waldorf, Maryland, and Thomas B. Driscoll and his wife Denise of Holliston. He was also well loved by his many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 5th from 5-8p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 6th at 10:00a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Franklin. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Franklin.
