Lucian Curtis Hixson

Lucian Curtis Hixson, 81, of Framingham and formerly of Ohio and Kentucky, died peacefully after a long illness on November 11, 2014. Born in Kentucky, he was the son of the late Christine (Carman) and Mack Jordan Hixson. He was the husband of 63 years to Ruby (Cawthorn) Hixson of Framingham.

An Army Veteran, Lucian was a 42nd Degree Mason and a member of the Norwood Lodge in Ohio. He loved baseball and basketball, especially the University of Kentucky team. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, country western music and Rv-ing with his family. He was greatly loved and will be missed by his family.

Besides by his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Deborah Hixson Kingston and her husband Barry of Holliston; his brother, Lewis Darrell Hixson of Indiana; 2 grandchildren, Nathaniel and Emily Kingston. He is predeceased by his sister, Inez Hixson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral service will take place in the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00a.m.
