Marjorie Ruth Selent

Holliston-
Marjorie R. Selent of Holliston passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 1, 2011. She was born to the late Arthur and Helen Taylor of Cambridge, MA. in the year 1930. She was a 1948 graduate of Cambridge High and Latin.

Marjorie came to Holliston as a teenager and fell in love with the town where she spent the rest of her life. She was a passionate reader and gardener and a follower of major league Boston sports.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, John T. Selent, life time resident of Holliston, their son, Jeffrey Selent and his wife Vivian of Westford, MA., a son Steven Selent and his wife Mary of Milford, MA. and a daughter, Cynthia Hayden and her husband James of Victor, NY. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and is survived by three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 2-4p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral service will take place following visitation at 4pm.
