A Corporal in the Army, Louis was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. A resident of Holliston since 1962, he was a member of the Mt. Hollis Masonic Lodge in Holliston and was a musician who played throughout New England. He is survived by 2 sons, Douglas Raneri of Montague, MA. and James Raneri of Dana Point, CA.; a sister, Gloria Arone of Watertown and 3 grandchildren. He also leaves behind his companion, Meryl Thompson of Millis and her children, Andy Thompson and Anne Thompson. He is predeceased by his son, Robert Raneri and 3 siblings, George, Mary and Agnes. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 22nd at 6:00p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, 40 High St. Holliston, MA. 01746.
