Robert E. Adams

Holliston-
Robert E. Adams, 83, of Holliston and Moody, Maine, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Born in Holden, he was the son of the late Elsie (Nyberg) and Robert F. Adams. He was the husband of Barbara (Snow) Adams of Holliston.

Robert was a 1946 graduate of Worcester Academy and earned a business
degree from Boston University as well as a Master’s Degree from Boston
State Teacher’s College. He taught for 29 years at the Caryl School in Dover.

In addition to his wife of 52 years, he is survived by his children, Elizabeth S. Adams of Boston and Robert S. Adams and his wife Monica Ruiz of Natick; two sisters, Doris Adams Nunnemacher of Wells, Maine, and June Pearson and her husband Morton of Holden, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Medine and Carole Buckley.

There will be no visitation and burial will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to Worcester Academy, 81 Providence St. Worcester, MA. 01604 or to Downtown Marigold Fund, 310 Woodland St. Holliston, MA. 01746. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.
