Robert J. Burns, Jr.

Robert J. Burns Jr., 80, of Holliston, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Robert and Margaret Bridgham. He was the husband to Jean R. (MacDonald) Burns of Holliston.

Robert graduated from Braintree High School and attended Suffolk University. An Air Force Veteran, he served during the Korean War. Mr. Burns was self employed as a manufacturing representative under the name of PSI Ltd.

Besides his wife of 53 years, he leaves behind his four children, Sean Burns and his wife Sylvia, Brian Burns and his wife Susan, Glen Burns, and Bonnie Escobar. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 from 10am-11am at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral home service will follow at 11:30a.m. with burial to follow in Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston.
