Florence L. Centola

Florence L. Centola, 87, of Bucyrus, OH, formerly of Holliston, MA died peacefully at her home Sunday, June 20, 2010.

Born September 5, 1922 in Boston to the late Patrick and Katharine (Newbegin) Driscoll, she was a graduate of Newton High School. On June 27, 1959 she married John T. Centola who preceded her in death in 1999.

She is survived by sons, John and wife Andrea of Lockport, NY and Michael of Sherman Oaks, CA; daughter, Lynn Murtiff and husband Brad of Bucyrus, OH; grandchildren Cole and Samantha Murtiff and Mark, Lauren and Stacy O’Malley; sister, Edith Miceli of Encinitas, CA and sister-in-law, Jayne Driscoll of Natick.

Florence was also preceded in death by brothers Richard and Frederick Driscoll.

A Mass of Catholic burial will be Friday, June 25, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Holliston with visitation prior to the Mass from 9:00-10:00 at Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) Holliston. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brook St., Wellesley.
