Anne M. Cook

Anne M. Cook, 90, died Sunday, April 9, 2006 at the Franklin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin, MA. after a short illness. She was a Hopkinton resident, for 24 years, and former resident of Patchouge, Long Island, New York for 35 years.
Born in Mainz, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Rudolf and Susanna (Hirth) Platte. She was the wife of the late John Cook who died in 1959.

She is survived by her son, John Cook and his wife Amy of Allentown, N.Y., and a daughter Rita Wojcik and her husband Jerri of Wrentham, MA. She also leaves 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cook came to the United States in 1947. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was involved in the Hopkinton Senior Center.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St. Hopkinton, MA. Burial will take place on Thursday, April 13, 2006 in the National Cemetery in Farmingdale, N.Y. at 1:00p.m. with the Rev. Lloyd officiating.
