John J. Ruth

Medway- John J. Ruth, 88, of Medway, died September 12, 2005, at the Milford Regional Hospital. Born in Boston, he was the husband of the late Mildred E. (Grono) Ruth.

A 15 year resident of Medway, he had been a member of the Carter Memorial Methodist Church of Needham. He worked at the Navy Shipyard in Boston during WWII, he worked as an electrician and as a maintenance supervisor for Ryerson Steel for 30 years. He enjoyed playing the organ and was a family handyman.

He is survived by a son, David A. Ruth of Holliston, a granddaughter, Danielle Ruth also of Holliston.

Visitation hours will be today, Thursday, September 15, 2005 from 6-8pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. 854 Washington St. Holliston, (RT. 126). A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00a.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Andrea Wyatt. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
