Holliston- Jack Joy, 76, of Holliston died Tuesday July 19, 2005 at the Metrowest Medical Center of Framingham. Born in Sterling, MA Jack was Army Veteran of the Korean War. A Holliston resident for 46 years, he had worked at Dennison Manufacturing for 35 years, retiring in 1989. He enjoyed playing pool at the Holliston Senior Center, Redsox , Patriots and yard work. A devoted family man he loved his girls and also his 1969 Pontiac custom tempest convertible. Jack is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mona F. (Pelkey) of Holliston, 2 daughter; Tambra J. Mackay and her husband Peter of Upton, Sandra L. Joy and Kerry Turner of Ashland. 1 sister; Janet Luksha of Sterling, 2 grandchildren Christopher and Leann Mackay, and a nephew Jim Joy. Visitation Hours will be on Friday July 22, 2005 from 4 to 8 PM at the Chesmore Funeral Home 854 Washington St. (Rt. 126) Holliston. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home on Saturday July 23, 2005 at 10:00 am with Rev. Ernest Batten. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery of Holliston |
