Holliston-
Stephen Oliver Meighen Davis, 70, formerly of Holliston, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 from complications with pneumonia. Born in New York City on April 19, 1942, Mr. Davis graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania and received a Master’s Degree in electrical engineering from NYU.
Mr. Davis, a professional engineer, was a pioneer in supervisory control and data acquisition systems that operated in real time. Mr. Davis founded two software companies in the 1970’s Real Time Engineering, Inc. that was based in Holliston and Real Time Software Systems based in New Hampshire.
Arrangements are private and under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home.
