Sherborn – William S. F. Murphy, 68, died Nov. 8, 2002 at the MetroWest Medical Center
in Framingham. A Sherborn resident, he also had homes in Dennis, MA and Jackson, NH.
He was the husband of Beverly (Nelson) Murphy.
Born in Boston he was the son of the late Michael and Gertrude (Fitzsimmons) Murphy.
Mr. Murphy owner and proprietor of O’Sullivan and Murphy Inc. of Littleton. He was a
fund raiser for Mission Grammar School in Boston. He was an avid sailor.
Besides his wife he is survived by his Eric Sean Murphy and his wife Jeannine of Boston,
brother; Joseph “Bud” Murphy and his wife Elizabeth of Westwood, a sister; Helen
Levangie and her husband Joseph of Cotuit and many nieces and nephews including
Teresa Leahy of Concord, MA. He was the brother of the late Paul and Tom Murphy.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, Nov 15 at 1:30 at Our Lady of Perpetual
Help Church, 1545 Tremont St., Boston, MA
