Ziegmond Stanley Janiak, 87, of Holliston, passed away Tuesday, August 21,
2012 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. Born in Needham, he
was the son of the late Aniela (Jacak) and John Joseph Janiak. He was the
husband of the late Irene D. (Serocki) Janiak who passed away April 2007.

A longtime Holliston resident, Ziegmond was an Army Veteran of WWII and had
worked as a chemist at the Natick Labs.

Ziegmond is survived by three daughters, Jean Belina of Easthampton, MA.,
Karen Schildmeier of Collerville, TN., and Linda Fitzgibbons of Worcester;
a brother, Stanley Janiak of FL.; two sisters, Wanda Kalweit of NY., Diane
Thomas of Framingham; 8 grandchildren, Bill, Kevin, Matt, Mark, Angela,
Kelley, Patrick, and Michael; 3 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Marissa, and
Paxton. Besides his wife, he is predeceased by a brother, John Janiak.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 5-8pm at the
Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St.
