Holliston – Yolanda “Lundie” R. Nicosia, 75, died Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Boston Medical Center.

She was the wife of Anthony James Nicosia who died in 2003.

Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Louis and Santa (Campanale) DeToma.

A resident of Holliston for thirteen years she was formerly of Weymouth and Dorchester she was a graduate of Dorchester High School for Girls and business college. She had worked for the Traveler’s Insurance Company. Mrs. Nicosia was a dedicated family woman who enjoyed homemaking, cooking, baking and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her son, James A. Nicosia of Holliston, Linda Ahronian and her husband, Mark of Holliston; brothers, Angelo DeToma of Holliston and Nicholas DeToma of Milford; a sister Jennie Sardina of South Weymouth; three grandchildren, Gina, David and Amber; a great grandchild, Madelyn and many nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 1st at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Washington St., Holliston. Cremation will follow. A calling hour will be held from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. prior to the funeral at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., Route 16, Holliston www.chesmorefuneralhome.com
