Holliston – Wilma Dacus, 88, died Nov. 24, 2003 at the Sudbury Pines Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Kermit I. Dacus, Sr. who died in 1983.
Born in Elk Park, NC, she was the daughter of the late William and Emma (Winters) Crumley.
Mrs. Dacus had been a resident of Holliston since 1976 and was formerly of Maryland. She had resided at Cole Court in Holliston from 1984 until entering the nursing home in 2000. Mrs. Dacus had loved nature, walking and animals.
She is survived by her son, William J. Dacus of Oregon; daughter-in-law, Mary Dacus of Marlboro, 8 grandchildren, Kirk Dacus, Angela Peloquin, Melissa Gustafson, Cynthia Livingstone, Genero and Joshua Dacus, Terris Cota and Samantha Bjerke and 12 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Kermit I. Dacus, Jr. who died in March 2003.
The funeral service and burial will be private.
Calling hours at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., Route 16, Holliston will be Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
