One of the most incredible human beings that I have ever met. An incredible teacher that never stopped learning and more importantly never stopped helping others. My students at Millis will forever remember you taking the time EVERY year to speak with them on Veteran's Day. Your smile and genuine approach immediately made them all feel at ease. When you left an hour later they had tears in their eyes and felt like they had made a new friend. That was no surprise to me of course because that is what you did with everyone. Rest in peace my friend.

Rest in peace Mr Dooling. I will miss seeing you around Mudville and will cherish the time that you took to talk to me whenever our paths cross. Thinking of you and your wonderful smile will always make me smile. Love and comfort to Carol and your beautiful girls.

My condolences to Bill’s family. I knew Bill through his connection to the Pantry. He loved to talk about New England sports.

Bill was a great teacher and friend to so many. I had the pleasure of having him for Homeroom, History classes, and Driver Ed. That started a friendship that we maintained right to the present. Just a wonderful, thoughtful man who really cared about his students. I will always remember him and the many conversations and at times adventures we had. A true role model for any educator or otherwise. Thanks so much for all you did for me and my fellow students. Timmy Smith MHS 1976

Mr. Dooling, May you rest in joyous peace!!! I feel lucky to have had you as my history teacher, you had an exceptional way of teaching that made class fun. Thank you for making Millis High bearable, and understanding that all teens are not the same, and you had worse handwriting than me. You will live for ever in our memories of high school. I'll be saying a pray for your family.
