Wendy Hilgert Boyle,54, of Holliston, MA died on November 1, 2008 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Raised in Darien, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Muriel and Charles Hilgert. She graduated from Darien High School and went on to receive a BFA from Syracuse University.

She spent 12 years in the Boston advertising and design community as an award winning art director, employed by Arnold and Co., HBM and Ingalls Associates, respectively. A lover of the New England Northwoods, she cherished the time spent at her cabin in the Rangeley region of Maine, studying the flora, fauna, history and wildlife of the area. She was an advocate of the Arts, Nature and Truth.

She leaves behind her husband Roger Boyle of Holliston. Her sons Michael Curtis Boyle of Savannah, GA and Christopher Charles Boyle of Ithaca, NY., sisters Donna H. Rhode and her husband of Rowayton, CT, Judith H. Hines and husband of Thomaston, ME, Dianne Hobbie of Eastchester, NY, and a brother Jeffrey R.
