Holliston – Warren T. Judd, Sr., 83, of Holliston, died Wednesday, January 12, 2005 following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was the husband of Virginia R. (Tolman) Judd for 62 years.

Born in Waltham, the son of the late Mattie and Thomas Judd, he lived in Waltham and Watertown before moving to Holliston in 1993. The last of 10 children and a graduate of Waltham Vocational High School, Class of 1940, Mr. Judd worked as a machinist until his retirement in 1988. He enjoyed bowling with the Waltham Senior League, and he belonged to the Union Bowling League of Watertown for 50 years. Mr. Judd was a longtime member of the Waltham Lodge of Elks and served his country honorably with the U.S. Army during WWII.

Besides his wife he leaves 3 sons and their spouses, Warren, Jr. and his wife Jean of Boxborough, Robert and his wife Betty Ann of Watertown and Mark and his wife Cheryl of Holliston; 6 grandchildren, Lori, Rob, Brian, Amy, Michelle and Michael; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854, Washington St., Route 16, Holliston. Cremation will follow. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
