Holliston-

Warren Edward Bowyer, 81, of Holliston, died Sunday, October 22, 2006. He was the son of the late Bessie (Adam) and Walter Bowyer. He lived in Holliston for the past 37 years. He was also the husband for 38 years to Marilyn (Fried) Bowyer of Holliston.

During WWII, he served in active duty in the Navy and then in the Army Reserves until his retirement. He was a beloved Canton High School teacher, mentor and coach.

Besides his wife, he is also survived by 1 son, Clifford Bowyer of Holliston, 2 daughters, Cheryl Greene and her husband Michael of Uxbridge, and Linda Karner and her husband Joseph of Hopkinton. He also leaves five grandchildren, Dana, Richard, and Katherine Greene, Jessie and Tommy Karner.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 11:00a.m. at the National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Parksinson’s Disease Association, APDA Massachusetts Chapter 715 Albany Street, Suite C329 Boston, MA 02118.
