Wanda J. Butler, 81, of Holliston, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. Born in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Alta (Brown) and R.C. Baughman. She was the wife of the late James W. Butler.

A graduate of Kent State University, Wanda was active in the Congregational Church in Holliston and volunteered at the Church’s Clothes Closet. She was dedicated to her husband and family. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and was well known and liked by many friends.

Wanda is survived by her children, Brian and his wife Joan of Holliston, Gregg of Uniontown, OH, David and his wife Victoria of Dover, FL.; 2 brothers, Harold and Russell of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, Julia Gilmore and her husband Steve of NJ, Lauren Culley and her husband Matt of Marlborough, Dana Butler of Holliston, and Daniel, Jeffrey and Jennifer Butler all of Dover, FL. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews including Lynn Moore of Ohio and Barbara Moore of Weston. She is predeceased by a sister, Lois Moore.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 1-2p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. A service in the funeral home will follow visitation at 2:00p.m. Private burial will take place at Lake Grove Cemetery at a later date. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com
