Timothy “Nortie” Farrell, 59, of Holliston, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Born in Waltham, he was the son of the late Joan (Tobin) and Edward L. Farrell. He was the husband of 27 years to Leanne (Fisher) Farrell. 

Tim was raised in Natick and was a graduate of Natick High School Class of 1983. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing golf. He was a fan of the Bruins and the Patriots, having been a former Patriots season ticket holder. He worked as a bartender for over 25 years at The Happy Swallow in Framingham.

Besides his wife, Tim is survived by his children, Thomas Fisher of Natick, Ryan Farrell and his wife, Caroline, Wareham, and Timothy Farrell Jr. (TJ) of Holliston. He also leaves behind his siblings, Brian Farrell and his wife, Denise, Maureen Alexander and her husband, Scott; two grandchildren, Braylen and Jax Farrell; his mother-in-law, Marsha Fisher of Ashland and his niece, Jessica Farrell of Andover, as well as many other  nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his siblings,  Terry Farrell, Brenda Farrell, Kellyann and Joan Farrell. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12th from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. A celebration of life will immediatley follow at the Natick Amvets, 79 Superior Dr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, diabetes.org
