Holliston-

Thomas H. Chipman, 65 of Holliston died Sunday, August 4, 2002, at his home after a long illness. He was the husband of Shirley M. (Hamlet) Chipman of Holliston

Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Kenneth L. and Mildred A (Himmelman) Chipman. Until his retirement in July of 1999, he was employed for 40 years in the oil burner service department of F. Diehl & Son of Wellesley. He was a former member of the Holliston Sportsman Club and served with the Mass. National Guard, 26 th Yankee Division from 1957 – 1963

Besides his wife , Shirley, he leaves three daughters, Renee M. Sistrand of Medway, Michelle A. Duplessis of Ashburnham, Catherine M. Paraskoulakis of Newburyport; one son, Thomas J. Chipman of Holliston, and 17 Grandchildren. He was the Brother of the Elizabeth A. Chipman of Framingham, Lillian M. Craven of Matthews, N.C., Ralph H. Chipman of Framingham, and the late Phyllis E. Taylor of Clearwater, S.C., and the late Ruth A. Chipman of Framingham. He also had many nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday August 7, 2002 from 4 to 8 PM at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., (Rt. 16) Holliston, MA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday Aug 8, 2002 at Saint Mary’s Church in Holliston.
In lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made to Metrowest Hospice, 85 Lincoln St., Framingham, MA 01702
