Holliston-

Thomas G. Wells, 88, of Holliston, died Friday, December 21, 2007 at the Milford Hospital. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Michael Edward and Helen (Silva) Wells. He was the husband of the late Mary (Gallagher) Wells and the beloved companion of the late, Gertrude Tiapoli.

A Holliston resident for the past 17 years he was formerly of Natick. He was a member of the Natick Legion and VFW. He retired at the age of 56 after working for a local pipe fitter union. He was also a Veteran of WWII in the Army.

He is survived by 5 sons, Thomas G. Jr. and his wife Marlena of Mexico, Gregory Mark Wells and his wife Mary Rose of Milford, Philip J. and his late wife Debbie of Milford, Geoffrey S. and his wife Rita of Ashland, David F. and his wife Lynn of Warren, R.I., and 1 daughter, Judy Vosnick and her husband Frank of FL. He also leaves behind 3 brothers, James Wells of Newton and William Wells of FL, Leo Wells of the Cape. He leaves 3 sisters, Claire Bouchell, Evelyn Cahill and Joan Phillips, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by 3 brothers, Charles, Edward Michael and Walter, and 4 sisters, Dorothy, Peggy, Anna and Florence.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 4-7 p.m. at the . Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A prayer service will follow visitation hours at 7:00p.m.
