Thomas Fitzpatrick, 77, of Albuquerque, New Mexico and formerly of Holliston, passed away April 2, 2015 in Albuquerque. He was the only son of Edwin and Flora Fitzpatrick.

Tommy was a star athlete in basketball and baseball at Holliston High School where he received many awards and held many records. He was also Senior Class President and a member of the National Honor Society, pro merieto. He was the captain of the basketball team and played men’s softball for the “Downtowners” in the 60s. He was an Army Veteran and resided in California for many years before retiring to New Mexico.

He leaves behind two children, his daughter Erin of Colorado and his son, Jason of California; three sisters, Mary Tero of Eastham, MA., Catherine Kurzontkowski of Holliston, and Phyllis Bassett of Ruston LA. He also leaves his companion Terry of California, and was lovingly cared for by his stepson Robert Cortez, his wife Gail and their children all of Albuquerque. He was predeceased by two sisters, Barbara Turner and Margaret “Peggy “Fitzpatrick.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 26th at 11:00am at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston. A gathering will be announced at that time. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com
