Holliston

Thomas F. Nolan 74, of Holliston, died Thursday September 5, 2002 at his home after a short illness. He was the husband of Mary (Haley) Nolan who were married for 47 years. Born in Brookline, MA he was the son of the late Michael J. Nolan and Frances (Dunne) Nolan – Noonan

A graduate from Newton High school in 1946, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was employed as a Line Crew Supervisor for Boston Edison Company for 42 years retiring in 1990.

Besides his wife he leaves one son, John Nolan and his wife Jennifer of Taunton; Three daughters, Molly Hurley and her husband Mark of Pembroke, Patricia Burnham and her husband Larry of Rockport, and Anne Milligan and her husband Michael of Decator, GA. Three grandchildren, Thomas Burnham, Alec Nolan, and Catherine Hurley. One brother Kieran Nolan and his wife Jean of Burnt Hills, NY; A sister Margaret Nolan of St. Charles, MD, one step-brother John Noonan of Framingham, and one step-sister Carol Donovan of Falmouth, MA and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Thomas A Nolan who died in 1960.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston on Tuesday September 10 at 10:00 AM. Burial Will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation hours will be on Monday September 9, 2002 at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) from 4 to 8 PM. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Renovation Fund, 8 Church St., Holliston, MA 01746 or the charity of ones choice.
