Thomas Cordell, 70, of Blackstone and formerly of Holliston, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024. He was the husband of 41 years to Kathy (Forgue) Cordell. He was born in Framingham and was the son of the late Cecil Cordell and Liselotte (Neibler) Ward.

Tom was an avid boater. He loved the ocean and fishing. He enjoyed cars and attending car shows. He enjoyed going out to eat and traveling. He liked good company and family gatherings. He had a great sense of humor, and was a kind and gentle man. He battled Parkinson’s for 24 years but would always go to any of the grandkids’ games.

Besides his wife, Tom is survived by two children Elizabeth Cordell and her husband, Jared Dagnese, and Thomas Cordell, all of Blackstone. He leaves behind 6 grandchildren Nathan, Anthony, and Emily Dagnese, Thomas 3rd, Michael, and Sabrina Cordell; his sister, Lisa Sellers, of Holliston and his mother-in-law, Marie Forgue, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30th from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Framingham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, P.O.
