Milford and formerly of Medway-

Theresa H. Groleau, 83, recently of Milford and a former longtime resident of Medway, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at the Blaire house in Milford. Born in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Tessie (Ossip) and Nicholas Kniasky.  She was the wife of 22 years to the late Edmund Groleau.

Theresa is survived by her two,loving sons Michael Antoneskou and Theodore Antoneskou Jr.; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Kniasky of NY; and her close friends, Alicia Moore, Gail Bagley, Yvon & Linda Gordon. She is predeceased by her brother, John Kniasky and her first husband, Theodore Antoneskou Sr.

Prior to her retirement, Theresa worked as a postal clerk for 42 years. She enjoyed cooking and hosting themed dinner parties. She took pleasure in reading, especially cookbooks, visiting the beach, and taking cruises. She also loved animals, especially her dogs, Princess, Shadow, Maggie, Charlie and Snoopy.

A visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 17th at  Medway Village Church with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Oakland Cemetery, Medway, with a collation to follow back at the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Medway Village Church, 170 Church St. Medway, MA 02053 or to your favorite animal rescue organization.
