Theresa Evelyn Elliott, 91, of Westborough, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Born in Melrose, she was the daughter of the late Alice (Richard) and Ernest Sonier. She was the beloved wife of 53 years to the late Robert R. Elliott.

Holliston was Theresa’s hometown and she then raised a family in Franklin. She also spent time in Roslindale, Newton, Fuquay-Varina NC, and West Boylston. She loved playing golf with her husband Bob and was always ready to tell anyone who would listen about her hole-in-one. When her children were older, she went to work at Corning Medical in Medfield, MA. First, in the Personnel Dept., before it was called Human Resources, and then as an Administrative Assistant. When Bob was transferred to the Raleigh, NC area, she worked as an Administrative Assistant at Raychem Telecommunications in Fuquay-Varina, NC. She loved exploring the Carolina coast and the Outer Banks of NC. She had many hobbies; golfing, reading, knitting, quilting, painting, cooking, and gardening.  

Theresa is survived by her children, Dale Elliott and his wife, Patty, of Northborough, Jeff Elliott of Fitzwilliam, NH, Marc Elliott and his wife, Marithsa, of Marlborough, Tim Elliott and his wife, Denise, of Attleboro, and Joan Ojemann and her husband, David of Harvard, MA. She also leaves behind her siblings, Doris Mee and her husband, Joe, of West Harwich, MA, and Paul Sonier and his wife, Teri, of Shrewsbury. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Asya Elliott, Candice Elliott, Paige Elliott, Andrew Ojemann, Kyle Ojemann, Robert Elliott, Victoria Aubin, Marc Elliott Jr. and Scott Elliott. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9th from 9:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. with a funeral home service to follow at 10:30 at Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston.
