My best memeories of Aunt Thellie were times spent at her house on Downey Street in Hopkinton! It did not matter if it was summer and we were swimming in the lake or the winter and we were skating on the ice ~ it was always fun at Aunt Thellie & Uncle Larry's house! You could never do anthing wrong ~ as long as you were having fun ~ that was all that mattered. For a kid it was the best place ever! In the past few years I have enjoyed Aunt Thellie very differently, she has been in the nursing home with my mom and my sister and I have Sunday lunch with the two of them most Sundays. Aunt Thellie was still the way she always was, comenting on all the other residence and how they acted. Sunday Mornings in the coffee shop were always a laugh, she could drop those comments and make you laugh till you cried right up to the last time we had lunch with her! Thellie & Huddie talked and laughed together all the time ~ we were never really sure what they said to each other, but they smiled, laughed, held each other hands and cried together ~ it was all nice! I am so happy I had these days with Aunt Thellie ~ I loved her deeply and will miss her! I am sure she has arrived in heaven and has been reunited with her family there! Love, Kathy
