Hopkinton: Suzanne T. McFaul, 69, died Jan. 10, 2003 at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital in Worcester.
She was the wife of James “Ed” McFaul. They had been married for 37 years.
Born in Milton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hortense (Duquette) Lareau.
She had been a resident of Hopkinton for 34 years and was formerly of Quincy and Milton.
Mrs. McFaul was a graduate of St. Anne of Marlboro Academy, Boston College School of Nursing and the Columbia School of Education and Nursing. She had been a Captain in the U. S. Air Force in which she served as a nurse for 10 years in both the U. S. and England. She retired from Bethany Health Center in Framingham. Following retirement she had worked part time for Marathon Travel in Hopkinton. Mrs. McFaul had served as a board member of the Hopkinton Council on Aging, was a member of the Society of Retired Air Force Nurses and loved painting with oils. She had loved traveling and had visited all 50 states.
Besides her husband she is survived by her son: Stephen and his wife Monika McFaul of Millbury, daughter; Denise and her husband James Mossey of Grafton, sister; Jacqueline A. Loebenstien of Colorado Springs, CO, grandchildren; Madeleine, Nicole and Connor McFaul and Emily Mossey and many cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church on Tuesday, Jan. 14th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Hopkinton.
Calling hours, at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 57 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton will be Monday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
