Douglas, MA and formerly Holliston-

Susan Elizabeth Wheeler, 59, of Douglas and formerly of Holliston, passed away on August 25, 2017 as a result of an accident. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Frey) Wheeler of Holliston and the late Cliffton E. Wheeler.

A 1975 graduate of Holliston High School, Susan was an avid equestrian. She taught riding lessons locally for many years as well as being an active member of the BSTRA, an Equestrian group committed to the preservation and accessibility of Massachusetts trails.

In addition to her mother, Susan is survived by her two daughters, Allison Thibodeau of Douglas and Victoria Wilkinson and her husband Alex of Upton. She also leaves behind her siblings, Donna Wheeler of Harwich Port, Scott Wheeler and his wife Diane of Cape Cod, and Russell Wheeler and his wife Kathy of Medway; as well as 5 grandchildren, Donovan, Greyson, Lyra, Benjamin, and Rylin and her former husband Joseph.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1st from 5:00-8:00p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com.
