Hyannis – Steven Michael Pomfred, 46, formerly of Holliston, died Nov. 29, 2002 in
Bourne, MA.
Born in Framingham he was the son of Elizabeth (Gay) Pomfred of Holliston and the late
Joseph Pomfred.
Mr. Pomfred was worked in the construction industry. He was a veteran of the U.S.
Marines and was a volunteer for the Veterans Administration of Cape Cod.
Besides his mother he is survived by his son; Steven Pomfred of Hyannis, four brothers;
Jack of CA, Paul of Indiana, Thomas of East Bridgewater and David of Holliston, two
sisters; Karen Hubbard of Florida and Christine Pomfred of Holliston, many aunts, uncles,
nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 10:00 a.m. at St.
Mary’s Church, Washington St., Holliston. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery,
Holliston.
Calling hours, at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., Route 16, Holliston
will be Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
