Holliston-

Stephen P. Davitt, 51, of Holliston and California, died suddenly on Saturday, May 22, 2010 while on a cross country truck haul. Born in Framingham, he was the son of Eleanor (Graham) Davitt of Holliston and the late Edward T. Davitt who passed away in 2009. He was the husband of Mary Ann Mankins of California.

Stephen was the owner and operator of his own long haul trucking company. He loved his children, his truck, and his Harley Davidson.. He and his dad were avid Patriots fans.

Besides his wife and mother, Stephen is survived by 2 sons, Stephen E. Davitt of Brookfield, Ryan Davitt of Holliston; a daughter, Jennifer Davitt of Medway; and 2 sisters, Cheryl Davitt of Hebron, N.H., and Lisa Caviasca and her husband Frank of Taunton. He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Devon, Emanuel, Stephen R. as well as his niece Amber and nephews, Dillon and Jimmy.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 10-11a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A graveside service will take place at 11:30a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Medway.
