Our beloved Stephanie Beth Brett – Bell passed away in her home in Holliston on Friday, January 7, 2022. A magical lover of life, with an endless sense of wonder, Stephanie will be dearly missed by her cousins Linda, Joan & Dana as well as close friends far & wide. 

She was born in Brookline to Dorothy & Carl Field & spent her summers in Nantasket with her cousin Linda. Stephanie & Linda were candy stripers together at Deaconess Hospital. An accomplished academic, Stephanie was a Valedictorian honors graduate of Brookline High, an honors graduate of Wellesley College & an honors graduate of Boston College with a Masters in Social Work. She was an esteemed colleague at Mass General for over 25 years. 

When Stephanie retired, she had more time to enjoy her home in Holliston & pursue her favorite things like Jazz concerts, musical theatre, movies & exploring new culinary experiences with her cousins. She was a talented pianist & loved singing show tunes. The Sherborn Lions Club was an important part of her life & she was recently awarded the honor of: Melvin Jones Fellow for her philanthropy & kindness. 

Stephanie was a 50 year Medalist & a member of the Priscilla White Society at Joslin Diabetes Center- Boston, where donations may be made in her memory, joslin.org  Funeral services are being held privately with family and are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.
