Sidney S. Corey, 77, of Holliston, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 6, 2007 surrounded by his family at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. He was the son of the late Sidney and Florence Rose (Bray) Corey. He was also the husband of the late Tsuruko “Mary” (Uehara) Corey who passed away June 2002.

He served his country in the US Navy from 1948-1956 on board the USS Witek.

He is survived by 4 sisters; Dorothy Carpinetti of Oak Ridge, NC, Barbara Gilman of Ashland, Rose Mary DeCesare of Holliston, and Oleva Picard of Upton. He leaves many nieces and nephews including Faith DeCesare, who was a great comfort to him during his wife’s illness. A private Service with Rev. Ernest Batten will be held with the family, Burial will take place in Lake Grove Cemetery of Holliston. Arrangements are from the Chesmore Funeral Home.
