Holliston-

Shirley Mary Burrows, 88, of Holliston, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Born in Burrillville, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Swan) and Charles Young. She was the wife of 56  years to the late Richard D. Burrows. 

Shirley loved getting together for dinners with her family.  She enjoyed all her friends and activities at Cole Court.  She worked for many years at Colonial Cleaners in Holliston.   

Shirley is survived by her children, Robert Burrows and his wife, Deborah of Milford, David Burrows and his wife, Lynda of Holliston; her sister, Joan Trinque and her husband, Donald of Pascoag, RI; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Brian, Justin, Kim, Jamie, Jason and Crystal; as well as 7 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and many beloved friends at Cole Court in Holliston. She is predeceased by her son, Alan Burrows.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21st from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com Interment will be held privately.
