Shirley Ann Tabor, 81, of Holliston, passed away August 29, 2016. Born in Natick, she was the daughter of the late Hermena (Crosby) and David Robinson. She was the wife of the late Robert M. Tabor Jr.
Shirley was the former tax collector for the Town of Ashland. She enjoyed dance, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Robert W. Tabor of Smithfield, ME, Richard W. Tabor and his wife Kim of Ashburnham, MA, and Cynthia L. Boardo and her husband Thomas of Holliston. She also leaves behind her brother, David Robinson and his wife Carleen of AZ, as well as 5 grandchildren, Tyler, Emma, Austin, Olivia, and Eliza.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1st from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A graveside service will take place on Friday, September 2nd at 10:00a.m. in Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross or to MSPCA.
