Holliston-

Shawn F. Moore, 52, of Holliston, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Framingham, he was the son of Nancy (Chesmore) Moore of Holliston and the late John “Jack” Moore. He was the husband of 27 years to Denise (Pisarro) Moore of Holliston.

A graduate of Holliston High School, Shawn served 4 years in the US Air Force as a Sgt. and was a Lt. in the Holliston Police Department, where he served for 29 years. He was a dedicated husband and father.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves behind his two children, Alyssa and Bryce Moore of Holliston; his siblings, Jerome Moore of Hopkinton and Nancy Beth Jillson of Leominster; nephew, Trevor Jillson of Leominster; nieces Vanessa Jillson of Brighton and Lindsay Jillson of Grafton and his dog Mia. He is predeceased by his sister, Sheryl Souther who passed away in August 2002.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24th from 2-6p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be held on Monday at 10:30a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Private cemetery services will be held at a later date.
