Holliston-

Seth John Libby, 36, born Oct. 21, 1980, a cherished son, a beloved brother, and an adored uncle; suffered an untimely death at the home he shared with his parents on July 5, 2017. Seth leaves behind his grandmother, Mary Keeley Feerick of Bellingham; his parents, Eric and Cathleen Libby of Holliston; his brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Bridget Libby, as well as their three children, Giavana Solley, Malakai Solley and Zephryn-Rose Libby, all of Sterling; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Seth was extremely talented in the trades of carpentry and mechanics. He was a mentor to many of his peers and enjoyed teaching them new skills. He loved fishing, scratch tickets, wheeling & dealing, cracking jokes, anything with an engine, and his dog, Charlie. For many years Seth operated his own roofing business. Seth was a successful participant in an ongoing drug rehabilitation program for the past six years. In February, Seth suffered a devastating fall at work causing debilitating injuries, forever changing the course of his life. The severity of Seths injuries necessitated various pain management treatments, including prescriptions for opioids. He was open with his family, especially his brother, about his fear of relapse. Upon conclusion of his acute pain management, Seth was optimistic for his future. He pursued physical rehabilitation and was looking forward to a new start in life.

A private Celebration of Life will take place at the home of Seth’s brother. The family asks that, if desired, donations be made in Seth’s honor to the First Responders of Holliston, MA. To all families who are struggling with addiction; hate the disease, love the person, and never ever give up on them!

Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com
