S. John Thompson, 73, of Holliston died Friday, September 5, 2003 at his home.Born in New York he was the son of the late Samuel John Thompson Sr. and Myra (Buchannan) Thompson.

A Veteran of the Korean Conflict he served in the Army as a Corporal. John was retired from GMAC where he worked for 35 years. He was also a town of Holliston Assessor, and a member of H.G.T.I.C

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Lynn Thompson of Holliston, 2 sons; Michael D. Thompson of Northborough, MA and Matthew S. Thompson of San Juan Capistrano, CA, 1 Daughter; Leslie A. Nicholas of Chelmsford, MA, and 7 Grandchildren.
