Holliston-
Samuel Joseph DiSciullo, 81, of Holliston died peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 7, 2004. Born in the South End, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lucy (DiMattia) DiSciullo, formerly of Brighton, MA. He was also the husband of 56 years to Grace L. (Neal) DiSciullo of Holliston.
A veteran of WWII, Joseph was wounded at Anzio and earned a Purple Heart Medal. He was a retired draftsman at the Natick Labs.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Marie J. DiSciullo-Naples and her husband, Eddy Naples of Mexico, ME, Joseph D. DiSciullo of Medway, Joanie E. DiSciullo of Framingham, Sandy L. Hayes and her husband, Kevin T. Hayes of Holliston, Ann L. Barnhart and her husband, Richard A. Barnhart of Summerville, S.C., Daniel N. DiSciullo of Holliston, John G. DiSciullo and his wife, Mary Lynn DiSciullo of Millis, Jean L. DiSciullo of Holliston, and Catherine D. DiSciullo of Holliston.
Samuel also leaves behind six grandchildren; Michael J Hayes, Jacqueline M. Hayes and Julie A. Hayes all of Holliston, Christopher A. Barnhart, Spencer L Barnhart, and Connor M. Barnhart all of Summerville, S.C.
Calling hours will be held Friday, July 9th from 5-8 pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.chesmorefuneralhome.com. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston on Saturday, July 10th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
