Holliston-

Sally M. Searles, 72 of Holliston, died Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. Born in New York, she is the daughter of Marjorie (Cookingham) of Rhinebeck, NY and the late Thomas Merryweather. She was the wife of Edward “Ted” Searles of Holliston.

A Holliston resident for the past 45 years, she was a member of the Congregational Church of Holliston. She was very active with Avon and selling real estate in the past. She enjoyed cruising every year and was a great cook who enjoyed giving dinner parties.

Besides her husband of 48 years and her mother, she is survived by 1 son, Matthew Searles of Holliston, 1 daughter Melissa Ann Searles of Leicester, 4 sisters, Jan Gumienny of Rhinebeck, NY., Jill Johnson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Jacqueline Lindbloom of Nashua, NH, and Cynthia Gallagher of Anthem, AZ., 1 sister in law Jean Merryweather of Rhinebeck, NY. She is predeceased by 1 brother, Thomas “T” Merryweather.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (RT. 16) www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral home service will follow with Rev.
