Holliston-
Rose Marie Dahlgren, 84, of Holliston, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011
at the Milford Regional Medical Center. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the
daughter of the late Carlo and Lucy (Bondanti) Scelfo. She was the wife of
Charles J. Dahlgren Sr. of Holliston.

Rose was a longtime parishioner at St.Mary’s church and an active member
of the Rosary Group who visited the residents at Timothy Daniel’s Nursing
Home each week. She can also be remembered for working at Holliston High School’s cafeteria.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Lucyellen Dahlgren
and her husband Joseph Curtsinger, MD of Tennessee, Roseann Costello and
her husband Bryan of Holliston, Charles Dahlgren Jr. and his wife Mary Ann of Missouri, and Joseph Dahlgren and his wife Eileen of Pennsylvania. She also leaves behind her siblings, Josephine and Lawrence Scelfo both of NJ; her grandchildren, Sandra Eckelman and her husband Justin, Steven Costello
and Kevin Costello, Caroline and Michael Dahlgren, Erik and Scott Dahlgren and Jacqueline Curtsinger and 3 great-grandchildren, Parker, Brooke and Colby Eckelman. She is predeceased by her siblings, Marie Bollwage and
Joseph Scelfo.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 4th at 10:30a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to the Holliston Pantry Shelf, 23 Water St. Holliston, MA. 01746.
