HOLLISTON — Rose M. Doyle, 76, of Holliston, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, at home.

She was the former wife of Paul R. Doyle, who died July 24, 2004.

Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Alberico and Angelina (Priziosi) Principe. She had worked previously for Natick Labs, where she was awarded a medal of excellence, and had worked for Jenson and Sheehan Insurance of Holliston and Holliston Town Hall.

A daily communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Mrs. Doyle loved New England and touched the lives of many with her smile.

She leaves her sons, Edward A. Doyle of Arlington and Robert C. Doyle of Woonsocket, R.I.; her daughters, Cheryl A. Doyle of Groton and Pauline D. Groh of Framingham; a brother, Michael Principe of Dallas; a sister, Louise Miller of California; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was the mother of Paul R. Doyle Jr., who died in 1983, and sister of the late Charles Principe.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 12, at 9 a.m., at St. Mary’s Church, Washington Street, Holliston.

Burial will follow in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Jan. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Chesmore Funeral Home (www.chesmorefuneralhome.com), 854 Washington St. (Rte. 16), Holliston.
